What’s the story?

No Attrition contains strategies and trends in the world of tracking research participants in longitudinal studies. I’ve seen the frustration of researchers who lose funding over low follow-up rates. Coupled with the fact that I’ve seen the amazing effects of valid research and devastating effects of lack of research, I felt compelled to do it.

I wanted a platform to offer some advice to research professionals in their follow-up efforts. No Attrition offers a wide variety of information from my background, experience and not-so-obvious resources, for they have all served me well. I hope this can help.

What’s your gig?

My experience in follow-up research came through my work for the University of Colorado from 1999 – 2006. During this time I created a system for locating illicit drug users after a 4 – 13 year hiatus from our program, which resulted in a follow-up rate of over 82%. Take a look at this report to learn more about the study.

After I moved back to Minnesota, I started No Attrition to help out research studies who were struggling because of high attrition rates. If you’d like to know more about how I can help, click here.
